Also you can teach them about cost per unit versus cost and how buying larger quantities is often cheaper if you use them at the same rate.
My wife when we first met didn’t know that every price tag has the cost per 100g or kg or ml on it to make comparison easy. I was aware since I was 5.
When I did the grocery shopping I alternated taking kids and it was fun. Now we just order for store pickup.
