Maybe low energy laid back people migrate to pot the way high energy, always on the run people tend to like Coke... Chicken before the egg ?
And I'd say these traits existed before or without any drugs.
Not nearly as much pot being smoked in the states, but the population is pretty sedentary and seemingly always have the munchies
