My phone vibrated both times but didn’t make any noise.
The amber alert went off while I was driving and I have my phone linked to my car audio. Knowing about amber alerts I quickly turned down the volume, even though it made no noise. Made me wonder though, having that sound go off while behind the wheel could definitely freak someone out.
