I think you made the right choice. I made the switch in April this year and noticed a difference immediately. I liked that breathing seemed easier while still getting my nicotine fix.
I'll be honest, there has been times where I have bought a pack of smokes, but its usually an impulse bit in the middle of the night after drinking lots and after the e cig battery has died.
