Ugh, I wasn't thinking. My son got his shot in his left arm, then my wife got her shot in her left arm, then me being an idiotic southpaw got the shot in my left arm.

Just wondering, but why do we get them in the arm anyway? It's not like they are going directly into a vein. Couldn't an intramuscular injection go into any fleshy area like the leg? Obviously there must be a reason, but I am curious. A quick Google search didn't reveal the reason, although I didn't dig past the first page (lazy I guess). I figured someone around here is smart enough to spoon feed me.
