Is it just me, or is CBC.ca's Olympic site the worst UI experience as of late?

Static Ads and menu literally take up nearly 1/2 my browser window, and then from there, the actual navigation is a huge pain in the arse to find anything.

Maybe we've just been spoiled with their previous coverage and sites from Vancouver and Sochi, but man alive, this is bad.
