They have been getting bad. I watch most hockey games on Center Ice and they play the same commercials every break. The one that annoys me the most is the one where a kid gets a bike and trains his whole life. Then he goes by a car and is saved because the car had child safety locks. This has been in cars since the 70s and this is what you push? The only difference is that it now shows on the dash that your kid tried to jump into traffic.
Also just in general, showing your commercial on every commercial break is not going to make me like your product more, it is going to be the opposite.
