It does cover burst pipe, but it only covers the actual leaks and damage associated with it. Part of the reason the board didn't put in 10 claims is because our deductible will absolutely skyrocket if we put in all 10, so we could only put in one of the major ones. They are all considered separate claims.
You can't put in one claim for "complete piping failure" and have them do it that way, paying for the entire system to be replaced. The residents are on the hook for it.
If it doesn't get repaired by next year, there will be 25-50 more piping leaks - the stuff has effectively had it's life end.
