Can confirm. Know someone with a 2015 or 2016 Santa Fe and dealer paid to replace engine. Don’t know all the details but it’s a known issue they covered. The dealer then promptly bought it back from them for a good price.

Sorry that’s OT. Good luck with search OP. I’ve seen some prices on used cars today that are the same price for year/make/model as cars I was looking at like 5 years ago. It’s crazy how much prices have spiked and how used cars are holding or gone up in value.

And as someone mentioned, if you want new you might have better luck if you stick to current inventory. If you need to special order, it’ll be a long ass wait.
