Riverbend, Douglesglen, Quarry Park all adjacent to Ogden are they not?
Quarry Park is expensive for SFH, the other two you can find on the river for a lot, surrounding area for a reasonable price, and away from the river for fairly cheap. Obviously that's not lake communities though.

According to google maps (right now) it's a 21 minute drive from Chestermere to Ogden vs. 40+ from Cochrane and 20 from Mahogany. Riverbend is 5, I'd at 2 for Quarry Park and 2 more for Douglesglen lol
