Simply that I think pizzerias should be judged based on pies with their tomato sauce.
Some people even debate whether flatbread style foods with weird non tomato sauces should qualify as pizza.
If I actually have a general hankering for pizza, I get pizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Not a taco on a bread base. Not a donair on a pizza crust.
I will say too that for all of the argument that pineapple drives, I can’t even believe people are fine with entertaining donair sauce as uncontroversial.
