Also looks like Microsoft i and Xbox is allowing consumers to install only parts of games to keep installs down in size. Ie, you can download the whole game and I've complete delete the campaign and keep the multiplayer, and vice versa.

I highly doubt that will be unique to Microsoft..both systems will likely allow you to install certain aspects. They already do on a few current gen games.
