Garland may catch on. Everyone in Arizona is a wild card because of the management, and Garland started on the first line last year, too! He rattled around and then settled on the second line at the end of the season, and I'd be happy with consistency in the real world. I already picked up Dvorak, who was on a similar trajectory, only a year ahead.
In sim terms, Garland is always going to be an accessory player because he is really small and DF/CH/ST is always going to be low. On the plus side, much of my team rates highly in those areas, so could be the perfect fit.
For Capt, Foligno is a solid stabilizing player. Around .35 pt/gm is good production from the bottom six, and a good DF player on each line seemed to help me a lot. Lots of this season left to play.
