It's funny how games from the NES/SNES/Genesis era really put more attention to detail due to their limitations and then as time went on, they went away from that.

Thinking of the NHL Hockey series and how NHL 94 for example had organ music from songs actually played in each arena (Brass Bonanza when the Whalers scored for example but also Flames classics which were played on the organ at the Saddledome at the time).

Plus things like "out of town scoreboard" and highlights from other games being played and fun things like that.
