I don't want to seem like I am picking on you in particular, but this is a complaint, especially with Lego, that I've never understood. What is someone looking for when they want a non-repetitive build? Some asymmetrical...thing?
Maybe it's because I just like the really big sets (2000+ pcs) and realize that at that size, things are generally symmetrical and so to build them, I'll be building multiple identical things and putting them together.
I just have trouble thinking of what a 'non-repetitive' build would look like.
I guess I'm more curious over anything else. I don't mind a repetitive build if I like what the end product is. But due to the stuff I like to build (the large spaceship models, vehicles, etc) I deal with a lot of repetition, so it doesn't bother me.
