They could actually turn this into a positive potentially. Having to make one of Becky or Ronda lose would have been poor at this point in time IMO.

Push the angle that the whole thing as an indefinite suspension / firing coming down from Stephanie / Shane pushing the angle that Rousey is protected by head office angle further). Also Shane has some heat among the fan base after he won the "Best In the World" tournament - so this could further that angle.

Then they have a 4-way match for the vacant title tonight, of course Charlotte wins.

Have Becky keep popping up on both Raw and Smackdown just destroying both divisions and interfering in the matches. Until she finally gets her wish of being re-hired...just in time for the Royal Rumble.

She wins - goes on to WM to win the belt...and you have your star moment.

Could generate a lot of heat for the Women's Division as a whole IMO and a very Austin 2.0 story line but with a female wrestler that actually has the chops to make it work.
