In hindsight, I think when I used the word downloaded, I was incorrect. I am pretty sure all the software exists on the box already, but you need to install it. In Canada, I have no access to Hulu etc, even though I bought my Roku in the US.

So the Hulu icon doesn't show up on the screen? Or it does but when you click it it doesn't work?
