I'm more willing to give Janko more playing time even when he messes up because he's got more potential to get better both defensively and offensively and he's also way better at creating his own offense. Whereas Ryan is what he is: really good defensively, often a significant liability offensively.
And Ryan's a 4th line guy because of his limited offensive skill and little upside beyond that, albeit real good defensively.
But that's just me.
