I think he is in a tough spot regardless of what his opinion is on the matter and needs to be flexible. Given the current state of supply chains, the energy crisis, inflation and everything else that is happening with Christmas around the corner, you 100% can not have a labour strike with railroad workers. It can't happen. Almost every single item we use in our general economy comes via rail.

Enough people would be against a railroad strike and shutdown that it would have ripple effects across the board.
