I laugh when I drive down Southland Drive by the Leisure Centre. The fencing on the south side toggles back and forth. Some of the owners were a bit over zealous and added and extra 5-6 feet length to their yards. As long as they don't sell or the city doesn't crack down....
No wonder they didn't want the ring road access off Southland.
