I am looking at putting in a fence and I want to make sure that I am putting it back far enough. I live on a corner so my fence will be running along the side of my house facing the road.
I'm looking at my real properly report and I can see the sidewalk and then where my property starts. There is a dotted line between the sidewalk and my house that says 1.50m Utility R/W. I am assuming this is 1.5 meters for utilities right of way?? My question is can I put my fence in that area. I was hoping for 3 feet from the sidewalk but if this is the case that is 5'. I just want to be sure before I start working.
I tried looking online but cannot find any info on this.
