Could still happen, but if doctors in China came out at the outset with videos about the true impacts of the virus, someone would have already leaked that this virus was created in a lab purposefully to be unleashed on their own people.
Some people tend to believe in conspiracy theories, that'll never change. 9/11, secret facilities in the Dallas airport, etc.
