Slovakia has announced the NA players they are bringing to their camp. As expected Pospisil, Roman, and Ruzicka were invited.

Directly in Canada, twenty players from Europe will be joined by eight olympic ice hockey players - Milos Roman, Adam Ružička, Patrik Hrehorčák, Oliver Okuliar, Maxim Tchaikovitch, Andrei Kukuca, Michal Ivan and Martin Pospíšil.

Also promising was that the Slovakia coach admitted in an interview that Slovakia does not have enough players of international quality available domestically and that they would be relying on players from North America.
