Anyways... I have always preferred the 80's metal... Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth.... etc...
of new bands... i like Dragonforce quite a bit as it is a drawback to the "classics"..
Death metal has never really been my thing.... i like to hear what the band is saying to go along with the slashing guitars... i always joke that they are probably screaming about petting kittens and frolicking through meadows... that is probably what i would do anyways...

I could care less what they are saying. As long as it sounds deep and evil. My 7 year old daughter loves Six Feet Under. Allthough I can only play certain songs because you can understand when they say the F word. When we get in the truck she allways tells me to put in "Deep voice" music.
I love a lot of the old metal stuff as well. Metallica is god. But I listen to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, stuff like that.
