I think the accusation was that both Grossman and Bartkowski are former players of Gulutzan's, therefore they received jobs that they didn't deserve.
If it was due to familiarity and confidence in knowing what kind of work they do, that's a management decision. If it's because he is their friend, that's nepotism.
Although the use of the word is correct, I think the charge is probably off base. Likely a case of comfort in familiarity over the guy giving a job to a friend that he knows should go to somebody else. Not a typical move for a new head coach in one of the most fickle careers out there.
