No, but it's no easier for the Spanish and Italian teams also but the fact of the matter is that the top teams strive for both. Only Munich in the snoozefest that is that league has the luxury of focusing on the CL only.
It's not strictly about who has the best starting 11 if you want to compete at the Premier and CL level.
