Heart says Monahan (and I hope he has a resurgence and a terrific year).
Right brain says Backlund.
Left brain says Tanev.
Huby after a while makes sense, but I think it would diss (dis?) other player to parachute in a new captain who doesn't know the guy, the style, the coach(es) etc. Give him a year to warm up.
There is no bad choice I don't think.
