Pens are pretty happy with the our draft, we had a few guys rise and only and only one really big faller:
2. Andrei Svechnikov (2 Carolina) - no shocker here
26. K'Andre Miller (22 NYR) -4 - This was no surprise either this is the area we projected him to go.
40. Jay O'Brien (19 Flyers) + 21 - This was a big jump, we saw O'Brien as a potential 1st round prospect so happy to see him selected here.
47. Jakub Lauko (77 Bruins) -30 - surprised to see Lauko slide as he was viewed as a safe pick.
54. Jack McBain ( 63 Min) -9 - I actually thought McBain was gonna be an early 2nd in the NHL so surprised to see him slide to early 3rd. I have however read a few articles that named him as one of the steals of the draft.
110. Ruslan Iskhakov (43 NYI) - + 67 - This guy was a complete wildcard. Glad to see him end up going much higher than we selected him.
