Gio made him look better than he was because Gio basically carried that pairing in their own zone.
Hamilton is a gifted offensive defenseman who struggles in his own zone. It was pretty clear to many of us while he was here. If you don’t believe me go look up my thoughts and others immediately following last season but before the Hamilton trade.
