Clemson has looked like anything but world beaters so far this season. Their D is good but the offence has yet to really get going. Plenty of time left but they need to get it together. I'm not sure I would rank them as a playoff team right now if I only looked as this year's resume.
Ohio State looks really good, I would probably put them at #1 or no worse than #2 right now. Their schedule has been soft up until now but they crushed Nebraska and made it look easy.
Alabama continues to get better, same with them. Questionable wins so far but now they are in league play and made it look against Ole Miss (who are not very good but still).
Oklahoma also looks better each. First league game and they crushed Texas Tech. Jalon Hurts had 1 300 yard passing game at Alabama, he just had his second at OU (in four starts), and he was over the 300 yard mark by half time. And their D is improving (a little).
