Disappointing to see Mitch hop aboard the Trump train after his statement in Congress a month ago but I can't say I'm that surprised. Everything he does is strategic with an eye to the future and I have no doubts that he realizes that Trump is their best chance in 2024 given his massive support in America, so he'll gladly take the attacks from Trump until there's evidence that someone else in the GOP can garner a similar level of support. I'll be interested to see if Trump can play nice with him in the future given his recent stance.
