I don't think Dom ever considered giving the immunity to Larual and battling Wendell in fire.
I think that was made up by the producers to create even the slightest of drama, because the last 3 episodes of this season might have been the worst of any Survivor IMO.
Terribly boring. Also goes to show how out of touch the players were when Laural looked so surprised she didn't get any votes.
