PSX emulation has made some big strides in the last couple of years. There's nothing you can do about the polygon count, but with resolution upscaling, antialiasing, and perspective correction (fixes warping textures), you can make these games look way better than they originally did
Unfortunately there's no way this mini PSX will be able to do any of this
