Ugh that's pretty devastating, hope he's handling it ok
Something similar happened to me when I was 16. Last cut, never got called up once. Every 16 year old on that team got drafted to major junior.
The worst part was that team won the national championship. When I made the team the last year we lost in the final of the national championship.
Fun times.
