Thats definitely cool.
Its gonna be a bit grating though next year having the announcers every single race screaming "and for the 100th (etc etc) SIR Lewis Hamilton wins!" For just that extra little bit of British smarm layered on top.
Still cool though, can't think of a younger person being knighted off the top of my head.
