I couldn't catch the Charizard I saw, after using nearly all my balls. 19xx CP, that must be pretty much maxed out for my level. I wish I had more ultraballs to start off with. Regular pokeballs didn't appear to have any chance of catching the thing.

Same thing happened to me. Threw a bunch of ultras and raspberries. Kept busting out and then ran
Luckily I have enough to evolve one, but would have been nice to save the candies.
