It works pretty well. I've used it previously as a Shaw subscriber. Video didn't lag too much and the quality was good. It needs Chromecast support though. The other issue is blackouts. I was hoping I could watch Flames games when outside of Calgary because I have Shaw account in Calgary but the broadcast rights change depending on where you are.
If Sportsnet had more NFL coverage and I wasn't a cable subscriber I would consider paying the $25/month. Outside of Flames coverage and sometimes other games they have really poor programming.
