If he goes UFA, the agent isn’t even returning your call unless your number starts with an 8. Are you really gonna let a 40 goal scorer walk over $1mil? Barely 1% of the cap? Buffalo still has $20 million in cap space after this and no other major free agents to worry about. It’s really a no brainer. If he walked on July 1st, they have $30 million to work with, with their number one need being a goal scoring winger.

Yeah and Neal has one of the worst contracts in the league.
Skinner has been frequently injured throughout his career, so I feel like the term is gonna be the real killer here.
