My issue with FedEx is that they only attempt one delivery with signature required items and if you aren't home you have to drive all the way near the airport to pick up your item. That makes them a glorified post office box delivery service where there's only one post office box for everyone and it's in the far NE. DHL is like this as well but they have drop off locations in each corner of the city so you don't have to go far to pick up the package. At least UPS will do three attempts before making you go to their depot to pick up.
