Forgive me if there's a thread for this already but Pettersen is one of the team's most exciting prospects and I figured he deserves his own thread.

Pettersen had an assist for the University of Denver Pioneers today putting him up to 17 points in 19 games, a 36-point pace in 40 games.

Pettersen leads the Pioneers in scoring with a four-point lead over Bobby Brink, the Flyers' first-round selection in 2019.

He needs to work a bit on his goal-scoring as he only has 3 goals, but he's only shooting 5.6% so perhaps that will increase. He scored 6 goals last season on a 7.7 shooting percentage.

Pettersen currently ranks second among all U20 NCAA players in scoring, which is pretty darn impressive considering his company:

1. Cole Caufield (MTL 15th overall 2019) - 20 points
T2. Emilio Pettersen (CGY 167th overall 2018) - 17 points
T2. Trevor Zegras (ANA 9th overall 2019) - 17 points
4. Alex Turcotte (LAK 5th overall 2019) - 15 points

With Shane Pinto, Bobby Brink, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Alex Newhook, K'Andre Miller etc all below.

Sure Pettersen is a sophomore but his season is still astoundingly impressive. Lots to be excited about.
