It's using my router's DNS, and I set the router's DNS to be the VPN providers. Weird thing, it occasionally does work, but most of the time when I try to watch something it will throw the error. iPhone and computer, like I said, are no problem. For all intents and purposes, the AppleTV doesn't complain at all about the VPN. It's just when it comes to acutally trying to play something in Netflix that it has this hiccup. I heard about IPv6 being problematic, but that is disabled on the router. Is there something in the AppleTV that tells Netflix I am using a VPN, even though its on my router?

The saving grace is that Airplay in iOS12 has been greatly enhanced. I can cast things to the AppleTV and still use the iPhone for normal use.
