Never in my life thought I would say this, but I am starting to think about an artificial tree as well. I made the mistake of mentioning it to my kids, who are older, and they were not happy. I got rid of my mini van this year finally, and am not really into trying to get the tree home with my small car, let alone what a pain in the butt it is to get it set up, get the lights on it, sawing branches off all over the place because we always pick one that is too big (it never seems as big on the lot). We have had a lot of laughs over the years with some of the trees we've picked, but I think I'm ready to go the artificial route. A pre-light tree would be heaven!! With the reception I got, I will probably have to wait until they both move out however.
