Looks like he may not be officially retiring. Could be LTIRetirement which makes more sense financially for him.

#Isles release says Boychuk's career is over, not that he's retiring. Will try to get some clarification but assume this means he's going to be on IR, either long-term or regular, until his contract runs out after 2021-22.
