I think video games are a medium that weren't, until quite recently, equipped to deliver a "perfect" experience, and recently the incentives haven't been there to permit it - those who have the resources to make a game perfect will intentionally make it worse to make more money.

First 3, I can't think of a single flaw. 4th was awesome too but too many cutscreens. 5 was fun but got bland about halfway in
