I remember a video the Flames posted during one off season where MacDonald was doing some catching drill with his dad on a baseball diamond. I remember it stuck out to me because he would catch three or four in a row and then drop one. It was like 'buddy, he's two feet away lobbing baseballs. Catch them all.'
It'd be good if Mason had a strong year though. Still only 22 years old. He also happened to be drafted 34th overall.

Haha -- I remember watching the same video and thinking the same thing.
Imagine if instead of Gillies or Parsons, it's actually McDonald that emerges as the NHL regular? I've pretty much written him off as nothing more than an AHLer, but goalies can be weird like that sometimes...
