Ethiopian airlines is actually at or near the top in the entire area of Africa and the middle east for safety, very respected, aside from the 2010 crash in a storm that most people still think was a bomb and that crazy 1996 hijacking crash that hit a coral reef they have been very good, they have top notch maintenance and training.
