Ya know I was ok with how the team was (or wasn't doing) until this past Saturday. Sure they looked listless and out of sync, but I figured no worries, that rust will shake off. Then Saturday happened. And boy howdy did I get angry. The team was so disengaged from the game that I honestly expected to see Iggy jump on the ice as if this were the 2009 Flames.
I hope this team comes out right proper fired up tonight, cause if they slow down for even a shift the Caps'll destroy the scoreboard. And Ramo needs to channel his inner Kipper, cause these softies are killing any momentum the Flames could be building. Having Sam and Joe back should be quite theshot in the arm for the Flames and I am hoping it's the touch to spark the rest of the team. Outside Johnny as he's been spectacular.
