Kate Elizabeth Russells "My Dark Vanessa" was frickin fantastic. Brilliant book, one of the best narrations I've heard, if not the best.

Emotionally heavy stuff though, really uncomfortable at times. But so so good.

"Blood Orange" by Harriet Tyce wasn't bad either.

EDIT: Oh, and I really liked The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman. (It's quite different from the series.)
