And other posters bought that up. We as ordinary people, have no idea of the true capabilities of this plane is.


The day of close in dog fighting is dying. A 4th generation plane, will be dead long before it gets anywhere that its of use.


Also with the future munitions and capabilities that can be installed on the air frame will make sure that the F-35 remains ahead of the curve until we see functional 6th generation fighters in a couple of decades.
