I hate to admit that you're right because I have a 55" Samsung KS8500 which is 4K and our room is actually too big for it to sit as far back as we do and properly enjoy 4K... although the HDR is pretty kick-ass, which in my opinion should be the higher priority where picture quality is concerned.
